Dr Shilpa Garud

Dr Garud qualified from Mumbai University, India in 1995 specialising in Anaesthetics.  She joined Cleveland GP Training Scheme in 2003 and afterwards joined Ferryhill & Chilton Medical practice as a Salaried GP.

Dr Garud has a special interest in Women and Children’s Health as well as Pain management, particularly for Palliative Care patients. She also teaches 2^nd year medical students at Durham University.

Dr Garud is married with two sons and her husband is a Consultant Surgeon at the Friarage Hospital.
